Gro Finne, born 1951, works and live in Oslo.

Educated from the National Academy, arts and crafts and the national Academy of fine art in Oslo.

Her first solo exposition was in Yong Artist Gallery in 1986 and last solo exposition in the gallery of the association of Norwegian printmakers
Her work is represented in the Norwegian National museum of art and Oslo city museum.

She alternates between drawing and printing, but she started her artistic education as a painter and basically, she calls herself a painter. She paints with the roller in the printing-process.
The last years she has immersed in portraits and self-portraits. The portraits deal with phases in life and the different roles we play during our life.

The portraits have been exposed in national and international juried exhibitions and in to separate expositions, The association of drawing artists 2012 and the association of Norwegian printmakers 2017.

She was reworded the prize for best graphic work at the Annual National exhibition 2016.

Gro Finne bor og arbeider i Oslo.

Hun er utdannet ved SHKS og Statens kunstakademi på 70-tallet.

Gro Finne har en lang og aktiv karriere som maler tegner og grafiker. Første separatutstilling var i UKS 1986 og siste i Norske Grafikere i 2017.
Hun er innkjøpt av Nasjonalgalleriet, Norsk kulturråd, og Oslo Bymuseum

Finnes arbeidsprosess veksler mellom tegning og trykk, men hun begynte sin kunstneriske utdannelse som maler, og grunnleggende sett kaller Finne seg fremdeles en maler. Hun "maler" med valsen under trykkeprosessen.
De siste årene har hun arbeidet med portretter og selvportretter. De handler om stadier i livet og hvilke roller vi spiller i løpet av livet.
Portrettene har hun vist på nasjonale og internasjonale juryerte utstillinger og i to separatutstillinger, Tegnerforbundet 2012 og Norske Grafikere 2017.

Mottok Norske Grafikeres Fonds Hovedstipend i 2016 og Norske Grafikeres Fonds Pris for beste grafiske verk på Høstutstillingen 2016.
